Our Story
Julia and Chris found each other during their undergraduate studies at UC Santa Cruz. They had cross paths multiple times in the madness that is college until one fateful evening in winter of 2002 when one of them finally had the courage to make an introduction. It was most likely Chris who said something like “hey, I’ve seen you around campus”. And then Julia accepting the smooth pickup line form the gentleman and responds with, “ I’ve seen you around campus too”. It is hard to believe that this initial encounter some 10+ years ago planted the seeds of love that has helped develop the loving and appreciative relationship that Julia and Chris share today.
Julia is now in her final year of graduate school to become a speech and language therapist and will soon be starting her new career in San Diego once here clinical rotations are complete. Chris is currently working for the City of Imperial Beach as the Environmental Programs Manger and putting his many years of continued education to use helping to improve water quality in the Tijuana River Valley and developing bicycle and pedestrian friendly streets for the City.
